Imagine if you will that you are in a important conversation and you have the attention only now you need to bring the attention to the point you want to make.
The point I want to make is that when you can guide and direct attention of people you have the power to change decisions and behaviour of people so easily.
Because we all have limited time, energy and focus and what we focus on determines what we think about and how we think about things and thus also how we act upon them.
Now imagine having that power wherever you are at your disposable. Imagine that you can make people forget and remember things easily.
We cant remember everything in every situation. We mostly remember what seems relevant to the situation so when you change the attention you actually can change what people see as relevant and what not.
You may have forgotten that you also do this sometimes unintentionally.
When you notice the attention going away from you because you pointed them to something else that demands their action now.
Else you will miss the greatest and easiest focus directing trick of all time and that is:
Notice where the attention is of somebody and start from there.
Then guide them to somewhere else.
By using POINTing it out and then moving that POINT to somewhere else you want them to focus on in such a tempo and pace that the people can follow it.
Like you can see here in this video demonstrated.
There is also a extra tip in there so stay tuned.
