Sometimes to get results we have to not worry about the results or even not think about the outcome.
The process of creating great ideas seems to be to notice more when you are having ideas and record them. It's a process that is not in our awareness. We only notice it when we already have and idea and our brain might already be working on that idea for weeks or months maybe before you noticed it. For some great ideas it might take a year or longer. Some come by accumulating life experience after a long long time.
You can compare it with your own body, your body is doing a lot of things, like growing your hair and regulating your blood pressure without you noticing most of the time. First. You have to eat a lot of healthy food and then you need to exercise to. Those things are done consciously but after that your intestines are processing the food. When you exercise the muscles are building when you rest not when you exercise.
There Is a cycle of processes that are in our awareness and out of our awareness and we need them both in order to be great in coming up with great ideas.
Mindful eating is a thing. It's when you are eating and only eating and not eating while you are watching some series on your pc or to too. You take time for it. It makes it also more enjoyable to eat. Yo taste more when you take time to eat and slow down.
The same is true for creative thinking. You can train yourself to become more and more mindful of when you are coming up with a idea. You can create a habit of documenting it and sort them out later.
Some processes like reading, if you are a speed reader and/or diagonal reader may be fast. You might be great in absorbing a lot of information and learning a lot fast and that's great. For some things you might want to slow down and really enjoy the process.
The things your body outside your awareness is doing are in another tempo than the things in your awareness and they might change and rotate over time in and out awareness of course.
You can digest food better when you rest and take some time. If you need to heal you probably need to rest too.
Some things only come when you let them rest. Don't hurry ideas. They will come on their own time. We can in the meantime train ourselves to notice them faster and better and find a schedule system for us that optimizes fast and slow time.
